If your like me, you like to use external HDD’s to store data you use frequently between laptop and PC. My unfortunate situation as I mentioned briefly in a previous post was that my external was recently damaged my a duche bag. Long story short, I lost all my music!
What I hate about Apple products is that they make it so difficult to do… anything! Getting the music on there is all well and good but lose your originals and, unless you buy a program (or purchased all of your music through iTunes) it’s gone. Or so I thought…
I like to consider myself a medium geek. I know more than the average bear but I ain’t no Bill Gates! I am kicking myself for not thinking of doing this sooner. Here is how you can recover your data from your iPod/iPhone etc easily (basic computer skills required B-) )
- Plug your iPod/iPhone into your computer.
- Open the iPod through My Computer
- Go to Tools > Folder Options > View (the tab) > and have Show Hidden Files and Folders selected.
- Click OK (not cancel… people do it!)
- Go back to your iPod folder, there you will find a new folder called iPod_Control. Open it.
- The Music folder in it will have a bunch of folders named F00, F01 and so on. This is all of your music, movies, videos etc.
- Copy them to wherever you want the iTunes Media to point to and add them to iTunes.
- iTunes should add them with their original names etc. Make sure you also have Keep iTunes Media folder organised ticked and it will rename the files back to what they were for you.
I got this information from here but I modified it slightly towards the end. This is tried and tested. I was so happy, I thought I had lost thousands of songs! d-_-b

The cheesecake was absolutely fantastic! Everyone loved it and said they want me to bring more in  I love praise, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy haha. If anyone wants the recipe I used it’s here. At work last week we also did the Big Breakfast to raise money for the Australian Thyroid Foundation. Basically everyone had to bring in a plate of something and donate some money to participate. I made Caramel Slice which was also successful o:-) I’ve been having a bit of fun baking lately, I was thinking next I would try a black forrest cake *rubs belly* lol.
Last weekend I went to the Bra Expo with Kalli and I got some fantastic items! Two that I am proud of are 2 corset’s at $150 each but I got them for $15 each! Hells yeah >:-) I love getting a good bargain. Jason will be pleased when he comes home
Kalli and I were there for over 4 hours as well! There was so much to look at. But it was a little disappointing as Kalli and I are both… amply busted… and even at a bra expo we were hard pressed to find pretty bras in our size. Though like I said it was far more fruitful than when you normally go into a lingerie shop.
I created I new layout for Addicted Listings because I think the first one looked a bit unprofessional. I can see how much the internet has changed since I was last active on 2007, I remember when cliques, directories and plugboards were an absolute must have! And there really isn’t that many personal sites around anymore either
or maybe I lost my knack
I’ve also added some recipes in Visitor. I plan on expanding on that greatly when I get around to it. One day. Maybe lol. I also want to add WordPress layouts for people to use but I kinda lost my will to design when a friend wrecked my external HDD which had ALL of my web design on it

Yes another day another dollar. Damn my life is exciting, woohoo >_> I do feel kinda special though, I got given a ‘leadership’ task to do on Monday so I get to say “You there, do this!” while I sit back and chillax lol no I wouldn’t do that, I wouldn’t learn anything! Considering I don’t actually know how to do it I reckon I’ll put myself right in there ^_^ Sorry I can’t really say what it is, suffice to say it involves computers.
Tomorrow I am going to make a cheesecake from scratch :s The recipe I’ll be using is from here. Since Jason’s been gone I’ve been so bored at home alone, and not being a very social creature (generally sucking at conversation with strangers) I’ve been trying new things to keep me occupied. I started with cupcakes, using one of those post mixes you get from the super market. Absolutely delicious  I love vanilla cupcakes and they had rainbow sprinkles on top! I took them in to work (because I will get fat if I eat everything I intend on baking lol) and they were pretty successful, so I’ve decided I’m going to learn how to bake deliciousness and test it out on the guys at work
SO, cheesecake. I made one a few days ago and it was a complete fail. Well, technically it was successful, it was just… yuck, it had absolutely no flavour. It was taste failure! Post mix fail :emo: never again! Hence why I went searching the net for a recipe
So tomorrow I am going to again attempt a delicious flavoursome vanilleriffic cheesecake (: I’ll take pics and post them if I remember
I wanted to put strawberries on top but (I’m assuming perhaps because tomorrow is Mothers Day) there was not a single strawberry in sight! Oh well, maybe I can find some tomorrow when I go see Ironman 2 with Kalli!!!
Now that is going to be fun! We’re going to meet up for lunch at Hogs Breathe Cafe (omg best steaks!) get completely smashed on cocktails than go watch the movie! mmmm I love cocktails! I plan on putting up recipes for my fav’s under visitors one day when I get around to it
On a quick (and random) note, I had a feeling of nostalgia and absolutely had to get Spice Girls first Album Spice d-_-b omg I still remember ALL the words to ALL the songs  I loved the Spice Girls so much when I was younger. Damn they were good back the day *reminisces about childhood* (:
