About Site

So on my 22nd birthday (8th January 2010) I decided I missed having a site and, having previously tried for days to pick a good name brought Soft Resonance [dot] net from Just Host. I got the name by thinking about the sound of rain. Admittedly I haven’t been anywhere near as active as I was before but that has more to do with how much has changed since I was last on in 2007… Facebook and Myspace has killed personal domains Frown

Purpose

EST. 14th January 2003, the purpose of this site was originally for people to come and enjoy it for themselves but has since then has turned into more of a personal webpage with aspects of the before intwined. This was my first site made using only html (I used to use Page Builder) and the layout was very simple. I was very pleased with the layout though because I won an award for it at Wysteria.

Beautiful Butterflies

The name came to me when I was reading a magazine and I saw a poster of Drew Barrymore. Written on the poster was her quoted saying,

“We are all like Butterflies, We start out small and awkward and morph into Beautiful Butterflies that everyone loves.”

I fell in love with that saying the moment I had read it and coincidentally I was looking for a theme to my page. Fate my friends, fate ^_^

Addicted To You [dot] NET

I brought this domain on the 13th of December, 2005 at Pixelled Solutions. I was lucky they had a great deal running when I wanted to buy too! All December, if you brought the Ruby Package, you would get a free upgrade to the Emerald Package!

The name, just came to me. I had been thinking for ages and couln’t think of what to call my domain, if I ever purchased one. I believe it came from the Simple Plan song “Addicted To You” come to think of it…

On December of 2007 I was having a lot of problems with my host as they had just reverted to a new payment script… long story short I gave up and lost my domain Frown
