ANZAC Day, one of the most important holidays on the Aussie calendar. Even more important if you are in the defence force. So Sunday morning, I wake up at 4am, get dressed in my best business-style outfit, and head to work for the dawn service *yawn* lol. One day I would love to go to Gallipoli and see the dawn service there, for it must be spectacular. I  have been attending ANZAC Day dawn services and marches since I was 14 and they always succeed in pinching that part of me that makes me cry when I see movies where people die, or have had a long hard life and finally get something good, you know the part I’m talking about

After this we had breakfast and had to wait 2 hours for the buses to the city for the march :| I didn’t have to march but it wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t. At the end my mates and I went to an Irish pub (the only place in town that sells alcohol at that time of day  ) and we drank and were merry lol. Pretty much it was an enjoyable day :) After a few hours I decided it was time to go, considering I was meeting up with my friend Kalli!

After I got home a crashed out on the bed and fell asleep  Than came *knock knock* from Kalli at the door haha. We were both buggered and couldn’t be bothered going out so we just ordered Chinese and watched The Davinci Code.

A pretty successful ANZAC Day IMO

WOOT I finally got around to making myself a layout for wordpress. I started around 5:00pm and it is now 2:55am :O Oh my gosh I’ve been on for so long! Oh my god that’s almost 10 hours. I really lost track of time, I’m contemplating removing my previous statement so no one can shame me lol. I feel really good though, I worked through it and worked out all the bugs (that I am aware of) and I didn’t give up when I got stuck. Ohhh, one thing that annoyed the hell out of me was the teal footer. Long story short, it wouldn’t work because there was an extra } at the end of the style above it! *raaaaage* I was almost ripping out my hair trying to figure that one out lol.
I know it’s not perfect but it’s the second wordpress theme I’ve done since 2005 so I’m pretty happy with my progress :D I must definately thank Zoya because if she didn’t keep kicking me in the bum to get her layout done I would have never had the motivation to do mine. Motivation is my enemy. I was thinking of making it available (with some minor changes), what do you think?

I went to the movies today to see Clash of the Titans and She’s Out of My League. I thought Clash of the Titans could have been a little better but overall I still enjoyed it. She’s Out of My League was hilarious, I would have enjoyed it more if some stupid woman wasn’t laughing so loud I couldn’t hear the movie, It’s called ‘self-restraint’ geez O_o.

Jason is soooooo wonderful! He’s so gorgous and so loving *goes all goggley eyed* he had flowers and chocolates delivered to the house today as a late Easter Present! They smell wonderful, it’s pink lillies, red roses and a box of Belgian Seashell chocolates. Oh my God they were delicious! They had that soft ‘melted’ chocolate on the inside… I love that stuff. Thank-you Jason bunny you are so sweet *muwah*!

Im going out with work again for another two weeks on Sunday sigh so I won’t be back until around ANZAC Day. Hope everyone has a great two weeks! ♥

We’ll I came back and it was absolutely boring. The girls and I weren’t needed and we did almost nothing the whole time. I finished two books while I was away, The Farseekers and Ashling, book two and three of the Orbernewtyn Chronicles. A fantastic series by Isobelle Carmody, an Australian writer. I am very bad at explaining books to people but essentially it is a post holocaust sci-fi fantasy. I’ve read them before (still waiting on the last book damn it!) but decided to refresh my memory.

I miss Jason :( why’s he have to be so far away ;( Skype is the most useless program ever invented. It keeps lagging out all the time and it makes me so angry I just want to throw my computer through the window! *deep breathe* But at least I get to speak to him almost every day. He makes me so happy. I can’t wait till he gets back in November, we’re going to start trying for a baby :D I’m not sure how that will go with us both in the army but hey, it’s been done before :)

I need an activity I can do to get me out of the house. Ever since Jason left I’ve been coming straight home from work and doing nothing. I’ve watched Greek season 1 and 2 and am almost through Heroes Season 3 :O lol I miss my friends back in Adelaide, I would be doing alot of awesome stuff if I were back there, Zoya is always commenting on facebook about going here there and everywhere and I’m mmissing out :( When Jason coms home we will be going back to see everyone over Christmas! We didn’t go last year mostly because I’d been away from home for a year and a half and I didn’t want to go anywhere :P

Well, I better be off to bed otherwise I’ll never wake up ;) Happy Easter All! *Hugs*
