Yay Maternity Leave!

Finally I am off work and will be until April next year *_* What will I do with myself! lol I guess I’ll look after the baby… hahaha. The silly thing is breach! she is all squished up in my ribs, I got heaps of room downstairs child!!! hahaha. That’s ok, I’m not too worried if I have to get a cesarean, they’re a lot more safer now then a decade ago and the techniques have improved so recovery isn’t as long. I would still prefer a natural birth if I can though Razz

Still learning Photoshop and Painter! I can tell learning how to paint properly is going to take me forever! It doesn’t help that I don’t know how to draw lol I need to use images, like, doing portraits (which I don’t mind). I’d like to do professional portrait painting… just a few years off that ROTFL

FYI I’m in the 36th week of pregnancy. So close but so far away!!!!

Might try and make a new layout tonight…. *ponders*

Half Days at Work! WooHoo

So yep, started half days! SO awesome, I am super duper happy as you can probably tell! It gets really boring at work. Because of what I do, I can’t really do anything lol. I can assists mostly but I am pretty restricted. BUT now that I have all this free time I can get back into my web design, learning more into graphics and learn photography!

I got a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet a couple of weeks ago…. OMG I LOVE IT! But I can’t draw to save my life lol. I have been practising a bit but I think I should so some sort of beginners art course, particularly for sketching and light/dark shading *squee* hahaha. I have so many great ideas about what I want to create but I want to make sure they turn out wonderful!

I had my Baby Shower on the 12th of June! Jason’s mum (Di) and 2 of my besties from back home flew up and stayed over (it was a long weekend). The baby shower was pretty awesome, my friends that flew up organised most of it (Di did all the cooking om nom nom) and had some good games like Pin the Sperm on the Overies lol. I got some wonderful pressies, heaps of clothes, and some wonderful handmade items too!

On the 13th Zoya, Amanda, Jason and I went to Magnetic Island. We went to Bungalo Bay Sanctuary and it’s basically a “come and pat/hold the native animals” kinda place. It was pretty good, I got to hold a Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo, Bearded Dragon, Koala (Barney lol), Fresh Water Croc, and a small and large python.

mmm pancakes

I was a good wifey today. I thought to myself “You know what Tash, you’ve never cooked Jason breakfast” Cool hehehe so I surprised him with pancakes with maple syrup & strawberries this morning! They weren’t too bad either. It was also a nice little going away pressie because he is gone for a week, which isn’t too bad since he usually goes away for a couple of weeks at a time! Hopefully we wont be going away to much while I’m pregnant, I don’t want him to miss anything! I’ve already said I’d abuse, (and I really mean I will go off my nutter) if he gets sent away anywhere near when I’m due! Heads will fly!
On a side note when I was making pancakes I had a random little blob of mix make a face! So I called him Bob lol Here is Bob, say hi… (click for larger view)

I lol’d… yes I say lol. I will eventually get around to making my own layout, I just really haven’t been feeling it lately Frown I’ve been getting bored really easily of layouts *sigh* one day I will make another *nods reassuringly*

I’ve been buying baby things *squeeeee* lol I’m so happy since I found out the gender! I love going into shops and looking at all the cute baby stuff, like in Target I saw the cuuuuutest jumpsuit, it’s a bear, so it has a hood with ears and eyes and a little nose and it has a tail *awwweee* I loves it! I brought the bedding, some toys and books, general stuff like that xD I have to stop though, I haven’t even had my baby shower yet lol.
